八年级走读，Rivers 会难一点， Dana 希望大一些。

首先如果孩子在美国只有一年的话，应该还需要提交托福成绩，请再和 Dana Hall学校确认一下，并请看学校官网信息：
All applicants who are not US citizens are considered international applicants. Green Card holders and US permanent residents who have spent most of their life outside of the United States are also considered international students. Dana Hall only provides I-20 forms to students in grades 9-12. Please note that our boarding program begins in grade 9. Applicants to grades 5-8 must be US Citizens or US permanent residents, living locally with an immediate family member. Dana Hall does not accept the SLEP test or TOEFL Junior test。

The River School 因为不招国际生，递交 ISEE成绩就可以了。 对于分数的要求，学校官网上非常明确：Standardized test scores are only one piece of your final application and no more important than the other information we request. There is no cutoff score you must achieve to be considered for admission to Rivers.

从孩子的总体情况来看，还是很不错的，但是不知道孩子的面试能力如何？ 因为面试也是整个申请过程中非常重要的一环，当然还有推荐信，以及学生的文书部分，申请是综合的Package，环环相扣，缺少了哪个环节可能都会带来不理想的结果。

想比较而言Dana Hall的几率会大一些，但是建议还是准备考一下托福，之前学生是在哪里读书的呢？英语口语如何？申请的时候除了标化之外，还是要看面试的表现的。而且两者一个寄宿一个走读，那孩子更倾向于那种呢？
